To Know Christ And Make Him Known

Christmas at Calvary

Christmas at Calvary is about music, family connections and the celebration of Christ!

Do you love Christmas music? Do you know the songs surrounding the events of the very 1st Christmas? We’ll consider a different one each Sunday morning in December:
Zechariah’s Song of Faith, the Angels’ Song of Peace, Mary’s Song of Trust, and Simeon’s Song of Hope – all coming from Luke’s gospel.

Snowy nights, Christmas lights, and Christmas carols – Sunday evenings in December will explore the background and biblical significance of some of our traditional Christmas carols

Here are the songs upon which we will focus:
Dec. 8 at 6 PM- Hark, The Herald Angels Sing
Dec. 15 at 6 PM – The First Noel
Dec. 22 at 6 PM- It Came upon the Midnight Clear
Dec. 24 Christmas Eve at 3:30 & 7:00 PM – What Child is This?/Silent Night

Christmas at Calvary is about tradition – Celebrate Christmas Eve with a decades-old tradition of caroling together, contemplating the significance of the Light of the World and the lighting of individual candles, picturing the change that the gospel brings to each of us.   Nursery care is provided at the 3:30 service only.
