Children at Calvary enjoy learning about God and His Word through age-appropriate classes led by nurturing, loving teachers while their parents are in an adult bible fellowship.

Worship Service

Kids are encouraged to join their parents in the worship service beginning in Kindergarten at either the 8:00 or 10:45. By participating in the entire corporate gathering, children will be led to worship through prayer, worship through song, and worship through Bible teaching. Additionally, there is a parent/young child room located right next to the auditorium where the service can be viewed on TV if a parent needs to leave to attend to the needs of the child.

Wednesday Evenings

AWANA : Kindergarten- 8th grade

6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.

On Wednesdays (during the school year), we offer an exciting, scripture-based, mentoring program called AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed). Children have the opportunity to earn awards through scripture memory and participation games, along with intentionally having mentor time each Wednesday. Our children are divided into age gender-specific groups.

Calvary’s Commitment to Children

We believe each child who joins with us in children’s opportunities should be safe and should hear the truth of God’s Word in a way they can understand. In order to do this we provide regular teacher training opportunities and each person involved with children has been screened and trained in child abuse prevention.
